Me n Lennertz hard work paid off...cuz we were like voting NON-STOP everyday, every 10mins since the show even started.... *phew* I m my biggest fan...ya... not ashamed to say! hahahha!

Looks like i cant even buy new clothes for mi liao.... sheeet...maybe still need to fork out my own money since 5k cant really do all those i've mentioned... i m still a poor student.... =(

DomDom (the cool guy above) My favouritest out of the 8 members in the Japanese Dance crew. His dancing is very li hai~~ "Dance like u r singing!!.... flow.... Speaker neh", he would say. He wanted us to "become the speaker". There were 4 master classes, 1 5-hrs dance workshop (yes! 5hrs of dancing!!) and this awesome concert! U should have seen! it's really fantastic lah!! If they do sell the video, i wld buy and invite all of u to my house and watch!~ *hahaha* They are really good ok... never bluff u one.

Hello!!! Dot and I are currently in Prague staying with her friends. The beer is cheaper than water and we drink a lot a lot of it. Really wish u guys were here but some things cannot be helped I guess.

We had a great time in Paris where people with cute french accents call us Mademoiselles all the time. So I had to say bonjour and merci to them and until now how to pronounce the words is still a mystery and Dot and I have long debates about how to pronounce it exactly. LOL.

Boyfriend and I were at Suntec when Qing called to ask us out for dinner. Though we have had our dinner at Breeks just an hour ago, why not? So both of us hung around at Marina till Qing picked us up for dinner/supper. Dot and Liyi joined us at the Prata House as well :) So we had loads of fun eating and chit chatting till past midnight. I think with all these chilling sessions, it will be in no time that I will put on weight :( Dot was more than glad when I was grumbling about it last night. Well, skinny people :p

Hello, I have some time this Sunday and decided to do what I've been wanting to do since January - jazz up the site a bit.

I know I haven't blog since I started my new job - but then again I have not exercised, enjoyed myself, shopped a lot, or have had anytime to do anything else since I started work.

Hope you guys like the layout - its a lot of Lily Cole (one of my favourite English models). Have also included a Fashion Nation bit for embarassing advertising but who cares.

The 10 year anniversary thing is next year but I thought this would be something special and wouldn't cost anything (I am broke) for our 10 years of just knowing each other.

I love you all despite the major dua of the year some of you girls have done to me *looks at the guilty parties*.

When you have ended your education, we can all go partying. I am in major need of having a social life, and I have not seen any of you for nothing in 2007. We always needed some type of birthday or reunion lunch excuse to meet up, and that is just abominable.

We need to meet, for NOTHING. Just to be fabulous.

Yeah!!! finally i can uplaod pictures!!! tats our reunion dinner!!! i decided to make everyone happy so everyone will turn up for MY BDAY CELEBRATION!!! right right right???

But i haven choose where to eat.... we are not going to spend tooo much $$ on expensive food ok... cuz i thk we can b v happy eating cheap n good food too... RIGHT?!

Btw i read some where tat Marriot Hotel has some cake buffet (weekday high tea maybe) tat cost only like 7bucks per pax...anyone know more abt it? And no, we r not going there for my bday dinner... its juz a casual ques and maybe we can go one afternoon! i heart cakes!!!

Oh, and den i juz found out vivocity has very cheap lunch during weekdays u know! i went to some cafe called something like White Dog Cafe and the set lunch is only $10.80+++ la! Less den 13bucks in total... Food is OK for the price, but if u r paying full for the main courses for dinner, den bo hua la... but lotsa cafe there all have cheap set lunch! so worth it!

Anw the MAIN point is: I DID NOT GO SHOPPING LA!!!! which means, sorry sorry, i nv buy anythg!!! Dun worry, Alice will buy for US hor... and i leaving for Vietnam on SUnday too, wil b back next Sat.. sian....

And i went to see the doc this aftnn regarding my head n the fever... she refered me to sum specialist but gotta wait tho~ perhaps end of this mth ba, so u all dun worry ok! =)

A few admin matters for the events this week.

I don't know if everyone knows, but I think we'll be going to Mambo and MOS on Wednesday and Thursday respectively. Of course not everyone is going, and I have no idea who will be going as I'm not organizing, so just let Liyi know (I think she is coordinating).

For Mambo there really isn't much to say. Just that I may not go in the end, but I would really LOVE to have a post-dinner drink with you girls. We'll see how it goes.

For MOS, as we all know, we'll be going down to support Sze Jia. I have all the tickets. Like about more than thirty of them *laugh* Each admits two.

To Liting: Sze Jia asked if Tze and Co. would like to grace the occasion. If so, I have more than enough tickets :)

And of course we have to be there at around 630 pm to 700 pm - Sze Jia says that we should go early to grab all the goodie bags. Seeing that we are slowly becoming pre-maturely auntified, I think goodie bags should please us all :)

I have to cut my hair at around 4 pm on Thursday, and I will be going with a friend from school. Also it will be great if you all can get your friends down as well as Sze Jia said she won't have many people there to support her, and its always nice to have more votes. I think I'll be bring some friends from the Honours class...

And that is that I guess. Hopefully everyone can try to make it for drinks night tomorrow and MOS for Thursday. We don't really have to stay late for both nights, so there is no reason to not come due to any late-night-related problems (i.e. beauty sleep/curfew/late night TV/bring supper home to dog etc)

Oh, Wanqing can be exempted because she has a real job, not like us free-loading, slacker students :P

Edit: Actually I only have 17 tickets, which admits 34 people (my math is very good one). So if it turns out that there is not enough tickets, we can always get it from Leonard :) Not a problem.

Le Grand Trip: Memo #1

Anyway, this is a suggestion regarding the trip some of the Girls and I will be taking next year!

Actually, by the look of things, it seems like most of the Girls are going *laugh* So very very exciting! So, please, please, please, try to come along. I swear this may be the last time, in a long time, where we'll get a chance to travel together for more than a short few days.

Anyhow, I think I'd already made it clear that I'm pretty obsessed about the Trip. Most of it has to do with the fact that I'll get to see Boyfriend after months :P But I'm sure you all know that as well!

So, I'd digressed.

What I meant to blogged about was how we should each specialise in a particular aspect of the trip. Like food, lodgings, shopping, entertainment, historical sites etc etc.

I got the idea off this Travel and Living interactive travel show, and I think its quite brilliant. It's much better to have an expert for each field, rather than Jack of all trades for all. Of course everyone can read up on the other fields, but they just have to make sure they know what they're doing for the part which they are in charge of :)

As Liting has said, we will discuss this in December. And really I'm just being a jittery spider about this because I'm so bored :P

Hopefully everyone is fine and alive and kicking and still freaking gorgeous. Good luck for the exams! This is more for the NUS people rather than the NTU people, who are in the midst and will be finishing up soon!

Three more weeks darlings :) And then we tackle this impossible task of organising the trip.

I m feeling dam brady miserable la!!!

Went to Town ytd afternoon to get my free movie passes and also do sum shopping cuz ytd's haze wasn't so bad... spose to b a joyous afternoon.... BUT... the trip to Far East made me miserable till now!!!!

U know wad happened???? I was DAM unlucky ok...was checking out the Sunnies at the push-cart near This Fashion when..... *drum rolls*... this freaking gross, ugly, disgusting pair of out-dated sunglasses juz fell off the rack suddenly!!!!!! I wasn't even touching tat bloody rack ok!!!! Oh well, maybe i touched the sunnies on the table which shook the rack holding the ugly sunglass, and tats y it fell off and hit the floor which the most deafening "CRACK"!!!!! (eh, in the first place they weren't properly secured ok...so not my fault)

I was dam stun-ed cuz it broke into 2 or 3 pcs and there's no other customers standing next to me!!! (aiya, if got other ppl den maybe i can blame her n she can blame me or we both can run away or wadever la rite). Den i peeped at the side of the pushcart and the boss just turned his head over... =(

I was dam SIANZ ok... so i asked him: "I need to pay ah?" and also in the meantime i insisted tat i DID not touch his freaking rack nor his ugly sunglasses which are more suitable for Market Aunties. So in the end i ask him to better charge me the cost price n not the selling price or else i would complain to XIAXUE cuz i knew her n she would help me blog it in her blog to boycott his broody stall! (ok fine, i m lying abt the knowing XX's part...hahah! i nv say tat la...i juz said the cost price part)

So in the end i paid SGD5 for that pair of broken-into-2-or-3-parts-Market Aunty-Sunglasses.... UUURRGGHHHH~~~~~~

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

The Sss-now-zer has given birth on Children's Day!!! 6 puppies total, 2female n 4male!!! (P/S it was my didi's bday as well man! can u believe it!)

They look fugly la...like alien with scrunched up face and eyes which r not opened at all... looked so naked and....ya...bare....yucks...And they look like rats too! eeeek~

Surprisingly they have fur on their bodies, but not much on their head, so i guess they r botak...hahah! I have no idea why 3 r black(mummy n daddy is not black!) but the vet says they wil change colour when they r older...eeeekzzz

The process was...mixed feelings la.... grossed, but at the same time, felt tat having a new life is such a wonderful thg!!! Sss-now-zer is a great mummy, always feeding them n i m really touched when i saw her in labour... oh man, but the process was really gross! hahah!

Anw, anyone interested to visit newborns r welcomed!!!! will talk more abt it if anyone is interested ya?! cuz i've gotta study for quiz... =(

Anw, i went to Kimage's Training Sch for a cheap cheap hair treatment juz now... was spose to b dam cheap cuz its a training sch for those newbies hairdresser-wannabe la... in the end i did mine for SGD26 for some "high-end" treatment (yah rite...)... i wanted to do the dam cheap protein treatment actually, cuz it cost only SGD15 la!!! haha, but got psychoed instead.... but nm... treatment is stil treatment la... and trainies really do dam slowly! i reached at 630pm and everythg ended at 920pm...wad the hell~

But the highlight n dye is cheap i can say! BF did both and its like less den SGD30 ok!!!!!! digital perm is cheap too, rebonding even cheaper! I thk skill wise of cuz cannot compare wif those senior hair stylist la, but at least the chemical wise is good ba... Kimage not bad one rite? Oh! and u know wad, the hair cut is freaking SGD5 only! hahahahahahahah! but i suggest dun try if ur stlye is those stylo milo hair style....maybe if u juz wan a SIMPLE trim den go ahead...if u dare la! hohohoho

I thk i can consider going there for more services, cuz the students r all humble n nice...(wad can u expect la!) hahah, went for hair trim at supercuts@far east ytd too, and i really love my stylist! Student rate is q cheap, at SGD24 if i rmb it correctly... senior stylist so thumbs up! yeah yeah!

And i stil cant make up my mind wad to wear for the Cleo Party!!! Still thking abt strawberry shortcake leh...

Anw, after serious touts, considering man-power or the high cost of dog food, snacks, shampoo, soap, play toys, dog clothes and everythg else my dogs use and eat, we (consist of my sis and herself) decided to either sell or auction off the going-to-come-out-newborns.

Her calling price is just 250bucks only! Well, if u frequent petshops u wil know how much a freakin small living thg cost... anw we bought Schnauzer for 800bucks, n we consider tat cheap liao la...But i thk price negotiable... wads most impt is whether the new owner has time to look aft it... wun wan someone too bz to play wif it and all... no irresponsible buyers ok! If u wan, u can mark up the price when u re-sell it to ur frens, den u can keep the commission...wadever ok!

Movie Night anyone?

Hi Girls :)

Actually this Saturday I wanted to have a (regular) movie night. I discussed with Anne and Liting and the response wasn't half bad.

We'll have a regular movie night (preferably on a weekend night, including Friday night), held at different people's places. We'll rotate. The person's whose place is the venue for the week will have to come up with the movie to watch. There can be no veto regarding this, since everyone gets their turn to choose.

On the other hand, people doing the choosing will do well to bear in mind that having a bored group of friends does not a good hostess maketh :) So choose something stimulating, for lack of a better word.

Anyhow, intially we decided that the host shall bear the responsibility of acquiring food and drinks (alcoholic or otherwise), but I think that it may be better to have a bring-your-own-stuff policy. That will eliminate unncessary stress for the hostess.

We'd also decided, to avoid completely pathetic situations where only 2 persons turn up (which technically makes it a movie date night), we decided that there should be at least 4 person committed to the movie night of the week, or else we will cancel.

We shall now have a poll (via tagboard) to see who is interested.

Actually I just asked the NUS girls who turned up for Mid-week Lunch Club just now about this, and none of them are free (for this week at least). Response has also been very lukewarm and everyone was non-commitent. That's why I already have a bad feeling about this falling through. So I have absolutely no idea why I typed out the whole chunk above. Maybe I too free :)

I should stop coming up with mad-hared schemes for regular get-togethers. I'm becoming a zealot or something :P Actually no, I just think it'll be nice. That's all really. Dot has never really been a zealot or any sort. She is strictly a slightly left-winged, moderate liberal, which means anything goes for me.

Just that sometime I get frustrated because my plans never ever works.

Oh, and please do not be alarmed if I'm anything less than sugarly sweet this few weeks. I may sound snappish and impatient and a million other nasty things, but I am just not feeling too great with the Boyfriend away. Becase if you don't know, I'd been feeling melancholic sporadically on and off. If you can't handle it, then don't talk to me for a while til the real Dot decides to pop up.

- Actually I am looking at the range that is black, the smallest one. I carry a small bottle of moisturisor, small comb and a mirror in my retro purse, but that is bursting. Would be nice if there is a handy bag/pouch that can keep all that and maybe one or 2 more items. Think small.

7. Longchamp Bag
- Still wondering if this is a waste of money. FG should get it for me though, moreover, he is the only one who saw the one I like. What colour should I get? Purple? Navy blue? Not red, I've got too many red bags.

I cannot think of anymore, except maybe lots of tops, earrings and a full set of makeup from MAC. Writing a wish list is so tiring. *half-closed eyes. Don't have to keep strictly to the list, and don't waste money by spending too much. Money hard to earn!

Hey Babes!!!

I hate school... i dislike waking up so early in the morning and feeling so exhausted in the late afternoon... den after taking a short nap, i hate to wake up all feeling even more tired... oh man... i've loadsa textbooks to read and buy... i m goin broke real soon... anw i'm working this weekend at the expo for the stupid IT show again... n i REALLY dread it... its so freaking tiring u know... sob... but i have to do it for my textbook $$... hrmmm, but i stil din regret spending all my $$ on clothes n bags n cosmetics... keke, in fact i love buying nonsense stuffs!!! (oh no...who can save me...)

ANW rite, i told Anne n Alice i bought this new lip balm fr Clinique!!! its soooooo freakingly dirt cheap la! i juz love SASA, esp when they have sale ok!!!!! *kisses SASA all over n over again* the lip repair thingie is really really really good la! it really moisturize my poor peeling dry cracked lips (wah lau~ really dat bad meh) and the balm stays there ok! its tasteless, and brgs about abit of shine, so its dam cool la!!!! The best part is...... i got it for SGD5 onli loooooooooooooooo!!!! ho ho ho... told u SASA is cheapo! hahahah!!!

I got Burt's Bees lip balm too, but i dun really like the petroleum taste leh...there's this funny weird taste or smell in it i guess... but luckily there's a bit of mint in it, so not tat dreadful... performance wise, not bad! got moist my poor lips...very sticky too, and it works, but Clinique is better! oh, i bought it for less den 6 bucks... its imported, and the price includes postage, so i say its cheap cheap too!

Den i got this fr bodyshop too... its cool, cuz part of the $$ will b donated to sum Anti Home Violance thingie... and i totally supports it! its the most expensive of the 3, but i promise i'l love it forever for its (1) mint, more minty den Burt Bees (2) quite yummy! so we can eat them safely and happily (3) we donate when we buy them! (4) it stayed by me when i went to China (5) it works too really well during Winter times (6) my bro loves it too (7) the mint is goot!!!

Actually if ur lippy peels rite, juz brush them every morning when u r brushing ur teeth... a makeup artist taught me tat, and it works! but whenever i does tat, i'm afraid tat all my skin will cum out or sth like tat leh... aiya, juz dun do it like u r scrubing the floor, do it lightly ok!

oH.....I found out a lil secret recently!!! cant wait to share!!!! if u r having spots on ur back rite, wash ur back wif Head & Shoulders!!!!!!! or any dandruff control shampoo! it really works ok!!!!!!!

Oh no, WQ's n LT's curse has came true~~~ i'm losing all my frens... u all seem to have forgotten abt me le... wad spa, suana, manicure, all i oso dunno... soB...juz cuz i din go to the Hot Old Changi Rd (cuz it was hotter den me), u gals decided to forget abt me leh~ sob~ so evil~

Dot, i saw ur mum ytd at the pet shop!!! lol! she was complaining abt u leh! she kept sayin: "Dorothy is crazy! she spent over $200 for a full body checkup for the dog!" muahahahhaha! i thk ur mummy so cute! But i thk the $$ spent was ok ma... everybody needs a full body checkup rite... ya, and my poor pups r dying alice...they are infested wif ticks or fleas or wadever blood-sucker-six-legged u call them when they suck ur poor pups' blood. And u know wad, my dad is dam drama-mama...he is crazy! On sunday, he bathed the dogs twice, 1st using DETTOL (yes, the one u use to mop the floor or wadeva), den 2nd using the dog's flea shampoo... dogs spose to bathe once a month or sth rite, but my poor dogs bathed almost everyday, and on sunday, TWICE... all cuz of the dam fleas la! and its not all ok, after bathing them twice, my dad realized the ticks not dead, so in a moment of pek-cek-ness, he SPRAYED BYGONE ON MY PUPS!!!!!!!!!!! OMG~~~~~ they almose died-ed ok... in the end my sis rushed back home and fetched all of us to the pet shop, to buy more powerful weapons... and tats when i saw ur mum... yeah... my dad is a murderer on Fathers' Day.

Oh ya, mango sale how ah... anyone going? Act i oso dunno i can go or not, cuz got inter-sem lessons, 3 times a week. Okay, if for some reason you don't already know, we're having a field-day with the Cleo Friendship Month promotions! :)

I'd spent the whole morning (with the help of my lovely partner-in-indulgence, Liyi), we'd acquired gym+pool+steam room passes to the Wellness Village Gym at Pan Pacific Hotel (yeah!) and spa sessions at Subtle Senses (at least for some of the girls).

Ah, as Liyi so aptly quipped, we have now up our FQ and HQ! :)

Lastly, there is also a Voxy promotion. The free express manicures promotions has already been fully claimed, but there is a one-for-one offer going on. I will check out the prices, and if anyone is keen, we can have not free, but still rather cheap professional manicures!

Am very excited about hanging out by an indoor pool (no more freaking tropical sun marring my fairness!) and slathering on moisturizers in steam-room, ala SATC!

uuuuurgghH~~~~ WQ! u really bought a whole load? show show show!!!! its sooooo cooool man!!! I cant find them anywhere in Spore other then the trusted neighbourhood Sinma and Chameleon (how ever u spell them)... however, they are far fr trendy and the cutest i could find is one which has rabbit ears popping out fr the top...yeah, cute, but whoever human on earth will wear them out!!!??? Ppl, pls do not buy coloured lenses...they suckz...its so drying i thk i only can tahan 2 hrs the max...the rest of the time, i was squeezing saline into my poor eyes... so rite, i can conclude tat X-men is great, but i only watched 1/2 of it cuz the other 1/2, i was busy pouring saline into my eyeballs!!! hahahah, but if u wan bigger and more colourful eyes, can try buying... juz dun buy the brand i m using... hahaha!!!

Oh ya, i forgot to blog in sum tips when wearing hairbands!!!

(1) Find a thick hairband...thin ones are so over ready
(2) Get cool colours to match ur clothes! Lace ones are great for a faminine touch too...Loud colours wif patterns r nice as well!
(3) U gotta LEAVE sum bangs on ur forehead too. Creates sexiness. Can comb it neatly to the side like wad Rainie did or jus naturally on ur face if they are short.
(4) DO not place the hairband too back behind. Must show it!
(5) Cuz hair wil naturally be flatten by it, esp at the back of the band, it would be good to backcomb ur hair behind for more volume. Tats wad the models are doing...trust me.
(6) To backcomb, u will need a comb(obvious) and sum hair spray! U can spray hairspray on ur comb and keep backcombing the hair until there are volume. Then spray more hairspray to keep them there.
(7) Looks retro but great for mambo! haha, kidding.
(8) Normal peeps wun really bother (i m normal!) but if u wan style, this is it!
(9) Do not wear it like this... (picture below) It was fashionable 10yrs ago, but not now ok!

Hairbands are soooooo in now!!!

And i cant help it but feel a lil tinge of jealousy when i see those gals wif straight or bouncy curly hair(like Mac's curly fries) wear them! Part of me scowl and try to convince myself that they are the trying-to-act-sweet bunch, but another angelic part of me tells me that, hey, they look freaking cute... dammit...

I cant believe that hairbands have made a cum back... i stil cant take away the image of me in Primary sch wearing those plastic bands to get rid of my growing bangs which covers my face like a curtain...

But i have decided...after i buy hair my hair straightener and hair curler, i am goin to buy a nice sweet hair band to wear!hahahah! we should have a Banded Day Out one of these days...lol

I'm in Taiwan now its damn fun! Food is SUPER good! Shoes are cheap too. Guys are cute in both HK & TW la, they all dress like idols. But HK > fun than Taiwan anytime.

Ok, i m so free nowadays... everyday juz watch TV and sleep. I don't know about you guys, but I am a shoe girl, which means I adore them to death. My lack of an army of shoes doesn't not mean that I love them any less, but just that I am still a very, very poor student.

Anyhow, there is hope yet for shoe girls like me this month! I don't know exactly, but I know that all of us are into shoes - what varies is just the degree of obsession.

Sounds quite un-fun when everyone is puking ard and everywhere... gross! Poor qing got her baby soiled and LT gotta change her out fr her diapers...next time u all go clubbing and decided to be drunk, pls eat things which r more puke-friendly... like, 2 days before clubbing nite, have all-fruits-and-vege meals! I thk decayed/decomposed meat is very smelly and so it would have contributed to the pungent smell of puke... Vege n fruits are healthy n detoxing rite! Act should only eat vege but thking of puking green grass out is also not very nice, so i guess muz add some fruits to brighten the green mass...AND, as a passerby who likes to see other pple puke and also wad substance they puke out, i thk it would b nice to see fruit-vege-mix instead of gross meat mix...ya...next wed, everyone pls eat vege n fruits... (i wanted to insert a pix of my dog's vomit but i thk its too disturbing...cuz he eats meat)

I stil thk u all very funny leh! Everyone kanna hungover the next day...lol!!! y cant u all have a proper dance nite out huh?!!! if its me, i wouldn't risk the risk of drinking so much cuz i mite juz miss out the cute guy near by...well, he mite be the potential guy for me rite!!! i'm glad in only had 1 hangover in my whole ife.
